Membership Requirements
Membership is open to all professionals actively engaged in real estate or an allied housing profession who share our commitment to Democracy in Housing.
Active Engagement
You must be actively engaged in real estate or an allied real estate or housing profession — including brokers, agents, mortgage lenders, appraisers, developers, property managers, title professionals, housing counselors, inspectors, architects, and other housing-related fields.
Shared Mission
You must support the purposes and principles of NAREB and the Gulf Coast Association of REALTISTS®, and agree to comply with our Code of Professional Responsibility and governing documents.
Application & Approval
Complete the membership application and receive Local Board approval and certification. No real estate license is required — membership is not limited to agents and brokers.
Dues in Good Standing
Pay the required local and NAREB dues and maintain membership in good standing. Only certified members in good standing may use the REALTIST® designation.
